The Microlab YA-14NF is an attractive low cost miniature omni antenna. It is an ultra slim flat antenna approximately 4.96 inches long by 2.13 inches wide. It mounts to the ceiling for omnidirectional coverage.
It is a multi-band omnidirectional antenna. Omnidirectional antennas broadcast and receive signals from all sides. This wideband antenna covers all common wireless and WiFi bands in the range of 698 to 3500 MHz such as 700, 800, 850, 900, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100, 2400, 2600 and 3500 MHz.
The YA-14NF miniature omni antenna is suitable for indoor use in applications such as passive Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). It offers up to 5-5.5 dB of gain.
This is a discreet, attractive, cost effective antenna option that offers reliable and stable high performance.
Microlab antennas and passive components both carry a guarantee for low PIM which improves coverage and capacity thereby optimizing network performance. PIM, or passive intermodulation, is form of distortion that occurs in devices like antennas as a result of nonlinearities in the system. It can be caused by dissimilar materials, design flaws, or corrosion by weather or age. PIM can cause significant disruption to system performance. The YA-14NF has been designed with all these factors in mind to minimise PIM.
