The weBoost Home Room (472120) is the ideal repeater to bring you continuous signal in your home or small workspace. It's a simple and effective solution to maintain uninterrupted communication for all cellular devices, such as phones/tablets and data cars, in up to 2 rooms of your home or workplace. The Home Room boosts voice, 3G, and 4G LTE on every carrier in the USA and Canada. It also supports many different devices connected on many different networks at the same time.

The weBoost Home Room was previously known as the weBoost Home 4G (470101).

The weBoost Home Room is designed to boost signal in a small inside area. Depending on outside signal strength and outside antenna positioning, it may be possible to get up to 1,500 sq ft. of coverage, but in practice, most installations will only cover one or two rooms inside.

The weBoost Home Room is also suitable for situations like apartment living, where it is not possible to attach an antenna and cabling to the roof of the building. The outside panel antenna can be attached to the wall outside the window, if the roof is not available.

Outdoor Antenna

The outdoor antenna provided with the weBoost Home 4G is a panel antenna (311155). Ideally, this antenna should be installed on an exterior wall or roof. The antenna sends the signal via a coaxial cable to the amplifier, which boosts the signal before sending it to the indoor antenna to be broadcast around your home or office. The kit includes wall-mount and pole-mount bracket options, and a window entry cable for ease of access and installation.

Indoor Antenna

The indoor antenna included in this kit is the weBoost 301211 desktop antenna. The antenna features an attractive modern design and is small enough to sit unobtrusively on a desk.

Included Cables

The kit comes with two 30’ RG6 Coax Cables (950630). It also includes the (971129) F-Female to SMA Male cable connector.

Lightning Surge Protector

We recommend using a lightning surge protector in most cases, but particularly if you'll be installing the kit in an area with frequent lightning. The lightning surge protector should be installed in line with the cable and near the outdoor antenna, and should be properly grounded.

Installation Guide

Installation

Installation of the weBoost Home Room is quick and easy and can be done with no specialized tools. A detailed guide will take you through the installation procedure, and tell you how to connect the two antennas to the main amplifier.

1 - Outdoor antenna

The outdoor antenna receives and transmits signal to nearby cellphone towers. Outdoor antennas can be either directional or omni-directional.

2 - Cellular amplifier

The amplifier (or "repeater") boosts the signal coming to and from and going to the cell phone tower. The "gain" of the amplifier describes how strong the amplification is - you'll see that word scattered across our product pages.

3 - Indoor antenna

The indoor antenna rebroadcasts the signal inside the building. Some kits have more than one indoor antenna to help distribute the signal.

The coverage area you can expect from any signal booster kit depends on the signal strength outside the building.

Complementary Equipment Welcome and Needed

I installed the WeeBoost at my cabin because the signal was marginal at best. We could get texts on a clear day when the leaves, trees and whatever else did not block the signal. We could not make or receive calls. After I installed the WeeBoost we were able to get 2 to 3 bars on the cell phone, send and receive texts and make cell phone calls and I guessed on the antenna direction to the closest cell phone tower. I was so glad that the Repeater store provided the complementary pole mount and surge arrester as they were definately needed for my installation situation. Thanks.

Works...no, really!

When I set this up, I only got the barest signal from the tower. However, the Weboost gets me two or three bars regularly.

It worked in a nearly COMPLETE dead zone

Initially I bought this for work - just to cover a small area. To find a 'bar' you had to do the cell phone shuffle. Problem was I could get to the windows - not fun working in a converted warehouse. So, brought it home - was getting a not so steady single bar. Installed and boom - 2 really steady starts - live in the country, so am happy. Hit a snag reading the amplifier, but found the data on the homepage. I've since supplied repeaterstore's data to the building manager - hoping for some work bars for Christmas.

Works Exactly as Advertised

I was a little skeptical that would increase my reception to the degree that it has. Formerly I would get 1 signal bar in house with data poor on HSPA, installed and 4 or 5 on signal and LTE on data. Thank You Wilson for a great product. (prefer name Wilson to WEBoost)

Great Item

I had 2 different cll phone carriers before my present one. With all of them I didn't have any reception in most of my mobile home. This all happened when I put a metal roof on it and insulation and vinyl siding on it. After installing weBoost, I went from no bars to 5 or 6 bars. Reception is great and I don't have anymore dropped calls. I believe it is a little pricey, but it works. Dale

It Works

We bought this to improve connectivity in our 5th wheel trailer. There are place we camp sometimes where the signal strength is to low for a HotSpot to work and cell phone connectivity goes in and out. Turning the weBoost on always makes both work great. Only issue, you need to be within 3 feet of the internal antenna.

Just installed this system

After installing the booster, it significantly improved our signal strength. Just be aware, the installation process and cable routing is challenging. I had to mount mine outside. Used the TV antenna cable which made it easier. Had that not been an option, it would have been challenging.

Much improvement

It was raining the day I got it and mounted the antenna on an inside window, not good. After I put it outside I'm getting twice as much signal. The indoor antenna must be placed strategically as it doesn't cover a large area (as advertised.) I listed Motorola as my phone, I also have an LG 2nd edition smartwatch and the phone networking is terrible but even that works a little better.)

Works! Does what I expected

We need a solution to get reception inside a construction trailer that is basically a steel box. The weboost helped enough that people working inside the trailer no longer need to step outside to make a call. I wish the signal was stronger, but we are in a poor area for cell reception.

Helped where we needed it.

Is helping where we needed. We has good signal upstairs and outside but not in half-basement where Wife's business is. Helps most of the time but one or 2 days a week one band has issues. Will continue to work with outside antenna position.

Expected more

Reduced cell downtime by about 75%.

We bought this because the AT&T cell reception was abysmal. This system reduced our downtime by about 75%. Obviously, this is not perfect. We installed this mainly to cover a medical alert system, so perfect is what we wanted.

Not too happy

I bought this thinking it would work for us, however it is not performing as we had hoped. Paid $400 an they wanted another 150-200 to install...on a fixed income an couldn't swing that. Wishing I could return it!
