The WeBoost M2M Direct-Connect Signal 3G Kit is designed for use by integrators with data-enabled devices who need to integrate M2M kits in tightly constrained spaces. Increasing numbers of electronics require a data connection, and the weBoost M2M Signal 3G can help ensure connectivity. Examples of devices which require a data connection include ATMs, security systems, point-of-sale systems, and more. Typically these devices need a persistent, always-on connection which means that a solid signal is required.

Compatibility

The weBoost M2M kits are dual band and will boost voice calls, 2G and 3G data on all major carriers in the USA and Canada. Check the compatibility section below for more information.

Kit Options

Like most cellular boosters the weBoost M2M has an external antenna which receives signal and sends it to the amplifier. Depending on the antenna and power options you require there are 3 options:

If you have room we recommend choosing the 12" antenna as it gives superior performance.

Installation

The magnetic mount antenna attaches mounts in seconds and should be placed in a convenient area where signal is strongest. A 10ft cable runs from the antenna to the main M2M signal booster. A short 3' RG174 cable goes from the amplifier to your device. This cable has an SMA adapter, and will fit most data devices that have an external antenna port (SMA is the most common). If you are unsure what antenna port your device has, or if it doesn't have one, then please contact us and we can recommend an adapter cable.
