The RG-6 and RG-11 low loss cables are designed to connect between your zBoost amplifier and the external antenna. The extra cable length allows optimum placement of the external antenna while still providing ideal coverage indoors. The RG-6 cables have F/Male connectors at both ends, which connect to F/Female receptors on zBoost amplifiers or zBoost antennas. If you wish you can also connect this cable to the existing cable in your repeater kit, using the F/Female-F/Female cable splice.
The RG-6 low loss cables come in several different sizes: 15 ft, 35 ft and 50ft. The lower loss RG-11 is 100 ft. We would always advise you to use the least amount of cable that you can make do with as extra cable length does cause some attenuation of the signal. Therefore, if you want to extend the length of your Wi-Ex amplifier system, we recommend the RG-11 Ultra Low loss cable, which reduces signal attenuation.
