Technically, yes. Practically, it's a big project. You'd need multiple routers or modems, SIMs from different networks, a bonding solution like Speedfusion or OpenMPTCP, plus a cloud server to handle the bonding itself. Then you maintain all of it — firmware, routing rules, failover logic, troubleshooting when something breaks.

And because we get bulk pricing on hardware and carrier data, we can offer this for less than you could build it yourself. If you love building this stuff, by all means. If you want internet that just works, we've already built it.

Need better cellular signal? Waveform Internet subscribers get significant discounts on Waveform antennas and signal equipment if your location needs a boost. Most setups don't, but if yours does, we'll help you pick the right add-on.

It's about whether you want to pay for the hardware upfront or spread it across your monthly bill. Either way, you own it eventually.

• Buy: $500 (Backup Internet) or $850 (Waveform Internet) upfront, yours after 4 months of service.
• Rent-to-own: $44 or $74 per month for 12 months, added to your service bill. After that, the hardware payments stop, your service bill drops back to normal, and the hardware is yours.

If you cancel before then, return the hardware and we'll refund what you've paid toward it.

Yes, any time. Moving between tiers on the same service — say, Backup Essential to Backup Smart — is a config change we push remotely, no new hardware needed.

Moving from Waveform Backup Internet to full Waveform Internet means adding a second modem, and we'll sort out the hardware with you when you're ready.

If you occasionally go over, we top you up automatically at no extra cost. No service interruptions or surprise bills.

If it starts happening every month, we'll reach out to see whether a higher tier fits your usage better, but you're never penalized for occasionally going over.
