The Celona AP 11 is a rugged outdoor LTE access point designed for enterprise deployments in the CBRS Band 48 spectrum. With high output power, external antenna support, and hardened construction, the AP 11 delivers reliable coverage across large outdoor areas — including campuses, warehouses, ports, and industrial yards. It’s designed to be mounted on rooftops, poles, or towers, and connects to the enterprise network via Ethernet or fiber.
With 2x2 MIMO, 30 dBm per-port transmit power, and support for up to 40 MHz of aggregated bandwidth, the AP 11 delivers stable performance in demanding environments. Management and core networking functions are delivered via the Celona Edge and Orchestrator platforms, with secure IPsec-based transport and remote provisioning. This model operates in CBRS Band 48.
Deployment Requirements
To deploy the Celona AP 11, you’ll need:
- SAS registration: Required for operation in the CBRS Band 48. Celona’s system handles this automatically via their Orchestrator.
- Celona Edge and Orchestrator: Required for SIM provisioning, management, and LTE core network functionality.
- IP backhaul: Ethernet or fiber backhaul with SFP and RJ45 ports included. Site must provide sufficient uplink capacity.
- Power and mounting: Includes AC power adapter and surge protection. Requires ±48V DC power and wall or pole mounting at the site.
- External antennas: Required. Omni or sector antennas must be purchased separately. Each unit requires two antennas connected via Type-N connectors.
- GPS antenna for synchronization: Included. External GPS is used for timing alongside IEEE 1588v2 PTP.
- Environmental considerations: IP66-rated enclosure supports operation from -40°C to 55°C in outdoor or hazardous conditions.
