The Celona AP 20 is an enterprise-grade indoor access point designed for private network deployments on CBRS Band 48. It supports both LTE and 5G NR operation with 2x2 MIMO and up to 40 MHz bandwidth, enabling reliable, low-latency coverage across a variety of indoor environments — from hospitals and factories to office spaces and distribution centers. Its compact size, built-in antenna, and IP52-rated enclosure make it easy to deploy in high-demand enterprise settings.
The AP 20 delivers up to 1 Gbps of total throughput and supports 96 active LTE devices or 128 active 5G devices. It includes an integrated omnidirectional antenna (up to 6 dBi gain), IEEE 1588v2 PTP synchronization, and secure boot with hardware-based root-of-trust. The unit is powered via PoE++ (802.3bt Type 4) and managed through the Celona Orchestrator platform. It operates as part of Celona’s 5G LAN solution and includes core network functionality via Celona Edge.
Available in a Band 48 (3550–3700 MHz) variant. This model supports Band 48 only.
Deployment Requirements
To deploy the Celona AP 20, you’ll need:
- SAS registration: Required for CBRS operation. Handled automatically via Celona Orchestrator.
- IP backhaul: Ethernet connection required for backhaul and cloud-based management.
- EPC or core network: Included as part of Celona’s integrated Edge system.
- Power and mounting: PoE++ (802.3bt) injector included. Site must provide AC power and a suitable wall, ceiling, or T-bar mounting surface.
- GPS antenna for synchronization: Optional. Integrated IEEE 1588v2 timing is typically sufficient for indoor deployments.
- Configuration or management access: Managed via Celona Orchestrator. Login credentials provided through Celona's provisioning process.
