This is an ultra wideband parabolic grid antenna. It features very high gain and directionality on all frequencies between 600MHz and 6500MHz.
It offers 12-17 dBi of gain on the 600-960 MHz frequency bands; 20-23 dBi of gain on the 1700-2700 MHz frequency bands; and 23-26 dBi of gain on 3000-6500 MHz frequency bands.
The antenna is intended for use in rural areas. Professional installation is recommended. The antenna must be precisely aimed at the intended cellular tower. The grid antenna has a narrow signal beam and can only “see” within the signal pattern for a given frequency. Once the best position is found, the antenna can be firmly secured using the included pole mounting bracket.
The antenna features an adjustable feedhorn to allow for increased gain in a desired frequency range. By positioning the feedhorn in or out along predefined slots, gain is increased by 2 dB on either the low or high band. (Note that the inverse occurs for the band not optimised; 1-2 dB gain will be lost on the other part of the spectrum.)
Installation requires two 10mm wrench, socket or nutdrivers, or alternatively an adjustable wrench and/or pliers.
The antenna has N-Female connectors. It measures 24 x 39 x 16 inches. It is made of ASA anti-UV and aluminum. It is IPX weather rated and rated to a wind velocity of 130 mph.
