Description

The Moso Canopy 5GID2 is a flagship indoor 5G NR base station designed for high-capacity enterprise and Industry 4.0 deployments. With Release 16 compliance and uRLLC capabilities, it supports mission-critical applications such as robotics, machine control, and real-time monitoring. Its fanless, compact design allows quiet operation in office and industrial environments while delivering advanced 5G connectivity.

The 5GID2 supports up to 200 MHz operating bandwidth in CBRS Band n48. Featuring 4x4 MIMO and peak throughput up to 1.5 Gbps downlink, it enables enterprises to run high-density, performance-sensitive applications. Integrated SAS proxy and IPSec security simplify deployment, while advanced features like network slicing and optional on-radio UPF support extend flexibility.

Deployment Requirements

To deploy the Moso Canopy 5GID2, you’ll need:

  • SAS registration: Required for CBRS Band n48 deployments, supported via direct connection or integrated domain proxy.
  • IP backhaul: 10GE and SFP+ fiber interfaces supported. Powered via PoE++ (802.3bt) or 12V DC input. IPSec supported for secure transport.
  • 5G Core network: Compatible with major 5GC vendors. Optional on-radio UPF available for edge deployments.
  • Power and mounting: Includes ceiling and wall mounting bracket. Customer provides mounting surface and power source.
  • GPS antenna for synchronization: PTP timing supported with external SMA port for GNSS input.

Setting up a private network can get involved — from hardware selection and integration, to network design, software configuration, and user device onboarding. Our team of experts can help deliver a complete solution, whether you’re looking for just the parts or a full turnkey deployment. Reach out here to get started.
