Waveform's RS400 Ultra Low Loss Coax Cable is a 400-type cable with N-Male connectors.

We also sell an unterminated 500-foot spool of RS400 cable.

RS400 is a drop-in replacement for:

Times Microwave LMR 400 Coaxial Cable
SureCall SC400 Coaxial Cable
Wilson400 Coaxial Cable
CommScope CNT400 Coaxial Cable
RG-8 and Belden 9913 air-dielectric cables.

It is compatible with Waveform, SureCall, Wilson, Times Microwave, or Commscope connector crimps.

RS400 is a flexible, weatherproof, very low-loss, high-performance cable that features a durable polyethylene jacket that makes it suitable for outdoor and indoor use. Applications include use with radio frequency systems such as signal boosters and distributed antenna systems, as well as for WiFi, WLAN, Land Mobile Radio, GPS, Land Mobile Radio (LMR), and Ham Radio applications.

This cable has N-male terminated ends, designed for use with our residential amplifiers and in-building distributed antenna systems.

Please note: we do not accept returns on custom-cut lengths of RS400 cable. As this is a custom-cut length, a lead time of 2-4 business days may apply.

What happens if my Internet connection goes down?

If your Internet connection goes down, the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3 will stop working until the Internet is available. If you need a solution that does not require Internet connectivity, consider a cell booster instead.

Is the Verizon 4G LTE Enterprise Network Extender 3 compatible 1xRTT, 2G CDMA or 3G service?

No, the unit only broadcasts LTE signal. Every phone released since 2014 supports "Voice over LTE" (also known as VoLTE or HD Voice) technology as the default way for making calls and sending texts. Verizon is planning on shutting down their 2G CDMA network in 2019. Older phones (from before 2014) will not be able to make calls or send texts using the LTE signal generated by the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender for Enterprise.

Can I use more than one Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3 for Enterprise in the same building?

Yes, absolutely. Multiple Verizon 4G LTE Network Extenders can be installed in the same building, and devices will hand off seamlessly from one device to the next. You can read more about how to arrange the devices in the Deployment Guide.

Can I limit access to the extender to specific users?

No - any Verizon devices in range of the device will connect to the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3 for Enterprise. The Network Extender can support up to 64 active users and 300 idle users. In most cases, you shouldn't see any performance issues by having unknown devices using the signal.

I have a firewall - do specific ports need to be opened for the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3 for Enterprise to work?

Yes - you will need to either put the units on a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) or open ports 50, 500, 4500, 53 and 52428.

How do I know if I'm connected to the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3?

You can check by dialing #48 - you'll hear an announcement stating your connection to the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3 for Enterprise.

Will I drop my call if I walk into range or move out of range of the Verizon 4G LTE Network Extender 3?

No, your call won't drop, provided there is sufficient coverage for your phone to hand-off to the outdoor "macro" cellular network.
